Visit to the Harriet Beecher Stowe House

On June 18th, 2003, 44 eager and enthusiastic travelers boarded a bus for a literary excursion to Hartford, CT. Braving the elements, they visited the homes of Harriet Beecher Stowe and Mark Twain, with a delightful luncheon stop in between. This was the latest in a series of trips made possible by a gift from the estate of Sarah Swope.
