Joyce Lannert
Joyce Lannert was President of the Board of Trustees from 2000 to 2006, and has been a
Trustee since 1996.
The Lannerts moved to Ossining in 1974 where their sons, Christian and Jason,
attended Ossining public schools. In 1987, Ed Lannert's career with UNICEF
took them abroad again, to Egypt and Jordan. During that time Ms. Lannert
worked as a consultant in the mideast. She continued doing consulting
in public administration upon their return in 1993.
Ms. Lannert was
appointed Commissioner of Planning, Westchester County, in 1998 and
retired in 2003.
Ms. Lannert has a B.A. from Harpur College, Binghamton University, and an M.P.A. from New York University.
