Bob Minzesheimer

Bob Minzesheimer writes for USA Today, reviewing books, interviewing authors and reporting on the publishing industry. Some of his reviews can also be read on the library's online magazine, The Ossining Review of Books, and heard on WFUV-FM. Previously, he wrote about politics in Washington, D.C. and education in Rochester, N.Y. He's lived in Ossining since 1996. He's a native of Brooklyn and a graduate of the New York City public schools, Colgate and Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism, and was a Knight fellow at Stanford University. His favorite books of local interest include Ted Conover's Newjack: Guarding Sing Sing, and Ben Cheever's Selling Ben Cheever. He's married to Mary Murphy, a documentary producer, and is the father of Kate and James, students in the Ossining schools.
