COMING ATTRACTIONS: LOCAL EVENTS FOR READERS AND WRITERS:
MEMOIR WRITERS:
The Hudson Valley Writers Center in Sleepy Hollow on Sunday, March 11 at 4:30 pm, will sponsor a reading and discussion with the authors of two new and well-reviewed memoirs: Danielle Trussoni (Falling Through the Earth,) and Abigial Thomas (A Three Dog Life). Details: www.writerscenter.org.
STORYTIME AT TEATOWN:
Teatown, the nature center on the outskirts of Ossining, sponsors a children's storytime and nature discussion, Sunday, March 18 at 11 a.m. The timely book to be read and discussed: When Will It Be Spring? Reservations at 762-2912, ext 110.
BOOK CHAT AND A MOVIE:
The Burns Film Center in Pleasantville hosts a Family Book Chat on Saturday, March 17, at noon, after a screening of the movie version of Babe, which was based on Dick King-Smith book The Sheep Pig, also known as Babe, the Gallant Pig.
