Tumbleweed Connection to be performed
live at the Budarz Theater
May 8, 2015 at 8pm

Join us on FRIDAY, MAY 8th at the Budarz theater as the piano driven power trio Early Elton returns to perform Elton John's platinum certified album Tumbleweed Connection in its entirety.

Released in 1970, Elton John's third album was a concept album based on country & western themes that included classic songs such as Country Comfort, Amoreena and Burn Down the Mission.

Early Elton is a tribute to the Elton John trio tours of 1970 to 1972 featuring Jeff Kazee of Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes (piano & vocals), Rich Pagano of The Fab Faux (drums & vocals) and John Conte of Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes (bass & vocals). Formed in 2011, Early Elton is dedicated to capturing and utilizing the spirit, mood and energy from Elton John's early tours in their live performances.

About The Foundation

The Foundation was founded in 2007 to assist the Library and its Board in raising funds for important activities and projects outside the scope of the Library budget. These may include new programs, equipment, special activities, pilot projects and the establishment of an endowment fund. Among the activities or projects we have sponsored or are currently sponsoring are the Words and Music Performance Series, the Italian Film Series, Building a Reading Community (a program to encourage parents and children reading together), the After School Homework Help Program, performances by the Mustizo Dance Company, folk music, drapes and equipment for the Budarz Theater, and funding for Children's Room mural.

We are grateful to several of you who have already made generous pledges to help insure this state-of-the-art cultural center will have the resources to deliver on its mandate. We ask the community-at-large for their support and contribution to help the Library provide more breadth and depth in its vital services.

If you are interested in knowing more about these projects, or in contributing to them or to the Foundation in general, please contact us at the address above or email us at

Our Foundation presently has six sitting members: Tara Matzan-Fried, Rachel Giampietro, Alan Marzelli, Sudha Narsipur, Nancy Peller, and Gloria Tannenbaum. We’re working hard to make Ossining a better place and believe you’ll enjoy being part of it.
