Back to School Backpack Bash

In just over a week we collected 20 backpacks for IFCA's (Interfaith Council for Action) Back to School Backpack Bash. Their goal was to collect 100 new backpacks and our library community made a real contribution. Generous patrons and library staff donated durable new backpacks that will suit a variety of ages and interests. Thanks to all for helping create a great start to the school year.

Parking Lot and Retaining Wall Information

The monitoring and evaluation of our library retaining wall continues. A portion of the parking lot must remain closed pending further investigation and analysis, which are actively under way. We understand the frustration of the reduced parking, but we are acting out of an abundance of caution while the situation is studied by our engineers. We're as anxious to open the parking lot as our patrons are, and we'll do so as soon as it is prudent.
