Writer and educator Thomas Staudter grew up in North Tarrytown (now Sleepy Hollow), and has resided in the Town of Ossining for nine years. He has been a regular contributor to the New York Times since 1994, and his articles have also appeared in many other periodicals and newspapers. An adjunct professor at Westchester Community College, he has taught in both the Communications and English Departments. He and his wife Carol have two children, Margaret and George.
