September is National Breakfast Month

Sep 01, 2018 | Books

It’s not that I need an excuse to eat breakfast–I am a card-carrying believer in the “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” dictum (okay, I don’t technically have a card, but I would carry one if it was made available to me. Especially if it had a waffle on it) and I serve breakfast for dinner regularly. But it’s always nice to have a reason to celebrate, and September is all about celebrating breakfast: it’s National Breakfast Month!

From pancakes to home fries, I’ve scoured our cookbook section to provide you with a hand-picked recipe for all of the breakfast items that make this meal so wonderful; it’s a tough job, I admit. Check out one of these titles to make a breakfast feast of your own this month!
