The Friends of the Ossining Public Library are able to support the mission and vision of the library through fundraisers and book sales throughout the year.

Annual Fall Book Sale

The Friends of the Library are hosting their ever-popular autumn Something for Everyone book sale, featuring a wide assortment of books, DVDs, CDs, and audibooks. The book sale will be held over the course of four days in the library’s gallery:

Thursday, October 17: 1pm to 9pm

Friday, October 18: 10am to 6pm

Saturday, October 19: 9am to 5pm

Sunday, October 20: 1pm to 4pm

The Bob Minzesheimer Author Series: An Evening with Nicholas Lemann

The Bob Minzesheimer Author Series welcomes acclaimed author Nicholas Lemann, who will be discussing his new book Transaction Man: The Rise of the Deal and the Decline of the American Dream, with moderator Robert T. Garrett, Austin bureau chief of the Dallas Morning News. Timely and fascinating, the book follows three American economic figures and a neighborhood who is impacted by the work of all three. Tickets to attend the event are $10 and tickets to attend the event and receive a copy of the book, provided by The Village Bookstore, are $30.
